The Fountain of Montuic, located in the heart of Barcelona, was completed in 1929. Since then it has remained one of the biggest, most spectacular fountains of Europe.
In late 1996 the fountain control system was refurbished, introducing spectacular new water games choreographed to lights and music. Three UDi-340 variable speed drives operate the pumps that control the 23 water streams that captivate hundreds of tourists every night. The pump controllers were supplied and commissioned by PDL's Spanish Distributor, Power Electronics.
