In excess of 600 PDL Drives were installed in major New Zealand dairy factory upgrades and expansions during this years upgrade season.
Dairies included Anchor Products Te Rapa, Kiwi Dairies Hawera, Northland Dairy Kauri, Alpine Dairies Temuka, Lactose Company Hawera and Southland Dairy Edendale.
The total amount of installed Kilowatts power rating of the drives supplied during the season exceeded 20 MW.
Many of the units installed utilise PDL's SBi (Serial Bus Interface) cards, allowing direct serial connection of the drives to Allen-Bradley Company Inc. PLC's.
