PDL recently donated an Xtravert to the Hamilton Pistol Club in New Zealand for their moving target. The world pistol shoot conference is to be held there in October with many people coming from throughout the world to use the moving target.
The Xtravert controls 4 moving targets (1 at a time) forward then backwards at a preset rate/speed (6ft/sec) which is defined in the international code/rules for pistol shooting. As the moving target has to meet this code, a variable speed drive is an excellent way to easily control this speed.
