PDL drives are proving popular at state-of-the-art international airports - in particular, in Hong Kong & Singapore.
Hong Kong airport is now near completion. The control systems at the airport have been designed to shut down lighting and air-conditioning in unoccupied areas and turn off travelators and escalators at off-peak times. PDL drives in particular have been used to control the air-conditioning as well as water-pump control.
Singapore's Changi Airport has been extended with the addition of finger terminals to 'terminal 2'. PDL's Singapore distributor, Interwell, saw that the job was completed to high standards with PDL drives used in the air-conditioning.
