PDL Electronics' new 1800 square metre building is now completed and fully utilised. The existing factory area has also been revamped to improve the working environment for both product and staff, and now incorporates improved workflows.
The improvements include better atmospheric control, increased static control systems, better product line layout and a closer integration of the printed circuit board and machine assembly areas.
PDL Electronics has also installed another CNC Turret punch, and another Press Brake for the fabrication of the metal componentry.
"To accommodate increasing sales volumes, we also plan to install another CNC Machining Centre and another complete surface mount assembly line," says manufacturing manager, Andrew Fraser.
