In February PDL Electronics shipped 2 x UDi-860 DP Drives to the BHP Tintaya Mine in Peru. The drives will be installed 4,000m above sea level and will be driving 420kW / 560hp pump motors.
Each UDi-860 DP is a direct parallel drive configuration standing 1426mm high x 1385mm wide x 412mm deep. The input and output phases of the two drives are linked together by an innovative busbar system, which is re-assembled on site.
